Our pig keeping courses are held in Boston, Lincolnshire and are tutored by an experienced pig keeper and breeder. This hands-on practical course starts at 10:00am and finishes at 3:00pm and is open to everyone from those thinking about starting out with pigs to those who already have some experience. Topics covered will include: * Legal issues * Basic pig anatomy * Pig breeds * Pig housing / pig accommodation * Pig care * Feeding pigs * Pig illnesses / pig ailments and diseases * Breeding pigs Delegates will be shown around the small farm and given plenty of opportunity to handle pigs. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions throughout the day. Places are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.
